Vi everywhere! Everywhere on my mac, at least..
I was just alerted to this extension from heaven which patches cocoa based text input areas into a semi-vi window. Whaaat?? Yes, you read that right - while it doesn’t yet support visual mode (a vim feature, to be sure), it does have a surprising number of commands. Sadly, firefox is not yet a cocoa app, and I can’t abide safari, but I’ll have to see what the options are.
I’m so psyched about this, I have to play around with this a lot more, but if it holds up - believe you me I’m going to be supporting the development of this li’l beauty!
