Ok, a poster pointed out to me that onnyturf has this awesome map of nyc with subway overlays. It’s quite nice - the main problem is that it doesn’t have the cool mobile app.

And in some good government news, Minnesota House Bill H0224 which creates a poet laureate position in the government was written in verse. How awesome is that? The discussion on that page is pretty awesome as well, digging through all that legaleze to determine if the state mandates writing rhyming poetry only.

The page is hosted by the Walker Art Center which is the place from which one of my all time favourite t-shirts comes from, I think I got it from my bro or sis for a birthday some time ago. For years I wore it thinking it was just funny and that Walker Art Center was actually me - you know.. I was a walker, the t-shirt was art and I was closed on Mondays. “How Meta!” I thought to myself. I still love that shirt and maybe I’ll have to buy a new one.

In other apparel news - Brookly Industries is turning their Williamsburg space into a gallery. That’s a company, although I may not always love their stuff, I really admire what they’ve done. They’ve been very successful in a difficult space.
