The Power Cosmic
Ok, first of all, why was I not notified that the Fantastic Four sequel is entitled “Rise of the Silver Surfer”? I mean, what do I pay you for? I had to find out by noticing a sign on a phone booth with a picture of the surfer and a the little 4 symbol in the corner. Seriously.
I suspect that I am in the nearly non-existent minority who didn’t want to drive a short traditional blade into my gut and churn it around after the first one. I mean, I’m not saying it was a great movie and all, but I know a lot of worse movie that got more of a pass than that one. I’d give it a 6, but I’ll give any movie with the Surfer a chance, he’s got the Power Cosmic after all.
I wonder if Galactus shows up in the film, I mean, you can hardly have his herald on the scene without him making his presence known. No? The trailer looked cool, fun to have that flying chase scene but the Thing looks… not so good.
Ah well, I’m looking forward to the movie. The Surfer was the best of the heralds, although I guess I also have a soft spot for Terrax.
