What Are You Looking At?
Just a little monday morning art.

Let’s start the week with this crazy article about how parents in Australia forced a Hyundai ad to be pulled off the air. The ad featuers a diaper wearing toddler driving his car, picking up a hitchhiking girl (his age) and going to the beach and surfing. The reason? They fear copycat behaviour. Seriously, they are worried that their 4 year olds are going to grab the keys and drive their stick shift SUV’s. Now I’m the first to really hate most things that feature kids playing the role of grown ups (including this commercial), but not because I fear that they actually will start behaving that way. Take a look at the video to see how ridiculous this is.

Next we have the new iPhone commercial that, as far as I know, debuted during the Oscars last night. I actually missed it when it came on because I don’t pay attention to the oscars, but I remember being annoyed by the beginning. While I think it could be said that it was appropriate for it’s spot during the middle of the award show, it really is a pretty annoying commercial. Am I the only one who thinks that?

And lastly, check out this flash app. You draw your own guy within the bounds of a human shape and it makes it dance for you. It’s pretty cool, although the music is kind of horrendous. And you can see what other people are doing, like me. Yes, it’s true, I can’t draw w/out going outside the lines. Sue me.
