Hey, rob, check out this pipe:

http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.info?_id=5bba0d4495ac19b0a3f4561e9be7e73e

It's just a few minor mods to the regex instance to shift the url to the beginning of the description - seems to work, although, it's still early in the morning so check it out to make sure it works for you. :)

since many feeds do not have the author information embedded into the feed, could regex take the good part of the link, for example, slashdot.org out of the link and add it to the first line of the description instead of at the end of the title. i am content with the above method and glad i finally found a solution, but it tends to make the titles really long.

i don't really understand regex that well. thanks.
