The 50 Most Important People on the Web
So Yahoo just posted PCWorld’s 50 most important people on the web. It’s filled pretty much with who you think it would be filled with. I don’t really like lists like this, because there’s no real criteria given for how the lists define Most Important or whatever. Is Marissa Mayer more influential than Matt Cutts around who’s words web folk live and die? I don’t know. Everything is quibbling, I’m just super glad that they put Bruce Schneier up on the list. I’d have put him higher, but that’s just me, his blog (if the blog’s too much effort, try the newsletter) should be required reading for everyone. That means you.
