VONAGE SUCKS! LOSING PHONE SERVICE EVERYDAY DUE TO INTERNET ISSUES OR THE VONAGE MODEM HAVING TO BE RESET! THEN WHEN I FINALLY ESCAPED, THEY CHARGED ME AN ADDITIONAL MONTH AND REFUSED A REFUND ON MY CREDIT CARD. IF YOU ARE INTO SADOMACHISM GET VONAGE IT WILL CERTAINLY GIVE YOU ALL THE PAIN YOU NEED!

Vonage + Timewarner Cable sucked eggs for us. I swear they were messing it up on purpose as everything was peachy until TWC started selling their own VOIP solution.

We hated Vonage for a long time because of this and I tried every thing I could think of. Turned out that we had an "early adopter" VOIP appliance and they sent us a new Linksys box for free, which helped tremendously... IF I made it the device that connected to the public network, which I couldn't because it didn't port-forward very well and I really need that.

Anyway, we have the SpeakEasy 6/1.5 plan and everything works really well, even when I'm pinning the connection with down and ups at the same time. Go figure.
