So the big news for palm is that they’ve released the same phone again!! This time they’ve only added 5 to the model number, which is pretty low, I think - I probably would have added a lot more maybe 60 or 72 and come up with an 810 or 822. But I guess since it’s the same phone as the 750 (and 700 and 680 and 650…) it’s reasonable. Yay palm! Innovate!

And I don’t know about you but remember back in the day when kids flipped cards? There wasn’t no magic the gathering, we’d just take a stack of our baseball cards and flip them against the wall trying to cover our opponents cards or else get that magical shot where we leaned the card up against the wall and win everything. Well all those cards were Topps cards (or maybe Fleers, too). And who knew, but Topps was a public company! But now, like all public companies, it’s being bought by a private equity firm. Turns out they made bazooka, too (I used to sell those on the playground with Howard for $.25 a pop). I hope they don’t split up the company!

Lastly - I’m glad that NYC is finally getting some new buildings that aren’t just square, brick buildings. I mean, sure I don’t necessarily love that Gehry IAC building. But at least they tried! And now word on the street is that Philippe Starck is working on a condo on east 23rd street. That link seems to be down right now, but I’d love to see what he’s doing. Apparently there’s also Starcke designed furniture and houseware there as well. Word to the architect.
