So Turkey just shut down access to YouTube. It seems like a bit of an overreaction, especially given that Google seems more than happy to take content down from the site these days. Anyhow, it’s things like this that highlight the importance of Tor. As countries - and I don’t exempt the US from that list either - start blocking content for whatever reasons they decide, a wide spread, robust and anonymous way to access that content becomes increasingly important. Tor is a great service/technology and I hope it continues to grow.
