Star Wars hotel
Wow, like the guy who wrote this post on the Star Wars hotel, I can’t believe that I’ve never heard of this. The site of Luke’s childhood on Tatooine turns out to be a real place in Tunisia! These buildings are called ksars and they are carved out of sandstone - they used to be grain stores but now also serve as hotels. The Sidi Driss Hotel in Matmata (no relation to Matamata the site of Hobbiton) is the actual site of Luke’s uncle’s home!
