He irradiated himself, his family's house and his entire shed had to be torn down and buried as low level radioactive waste. And apparently 2 students from our good ol' alma mater built their own <a href="http://www-news.uchicago.edu/citations/99/990519.scavhunt.nyt.html" rel="nofollow">nuclear reactor</a> in 1999 as part of Scavenger Hunt. That's the shit. I think Olson’s predecessor, David Hahn had a more interesting story.
