Best Fighter Pilots in the Galaxy?
So, not much posting this weekend (friend’s in town), but I wanted to run this list of the best fighter pilots in the galaxy by you (by scifichick). I find it pretty ambitious, to list the top 13, that’s why I always do lists of 8 - a whole lot easier. I mean, there’s always 3 or 4 ones in any list that are obviously the top, and then maybe another 3 or 4 a little less obvious, by the time I’m trying to find 10 and 11 - well that’s too much effort for this lazy boy.
Anyhow, I’m with her through the first 5 or so, although I’d put (new) Starbuck of BSG over Sheppard from Atlantis. I appreciate the shoutout to Alex Rogan of the Last Starfighter fame (I love him so much I made Maria go and see the musical, she was not amused).
At that point, I don’t know where I’d go, Buck Rogers of course. I spent a whole bunch of time trying to come up with other pilots and came up with a big fat blank. What’s up with that? I mean, the best I could do was Ice Man (Top Gun), because you know, it’s the way he flies, no mistakes, you get tired, frustrated, make a mistake and then he’s got you. I mean, it might not be scifi but he’s a pilot in the galaxy, no? :)
