Breakfast Links: Anime Mob, Da Vinci Code & Doom
This video is awesome. It’s a flash mob style gathering of cosplayers in Tokyo, spontaneously bursting out in dance to a huge audience. I would have loved to have seen that! They’re dispersed by the fuzz, sadly, but it’s pretty great to see. It also makes me want to have a Donut.
I read a couple of Dan Brown’s books (Angels & Demons and Da Vinci Code) and while I kinda liked them, I thought the writing was a little awful. However, these guys really, really didn’t like the writing. And they’re all smart about it and stuff. They used the word infelicities in the post. Sometimes I use the word poop in my posts.
And lastly for the benefit of humanity Doomworld has posted the full 16 pages of the Doom Comic online. Sixteen full color pages of Doom Guy talking to himself and kicking ass. With such awesome commentary like:

and
Ahh! Chainsaw! The Great Communicator!

It was hilarious how it took only 2 cops to break the thing up and everyone scattered in like 2 seconds. If that was in NYC there’d be 2 cops for every dancer and most likely a couple of beatdowns. =)
I wouldn’t exactly call it spontaneous. Haruhi fans the world over have been taping themselves doing the dance and Youtubing it for awhile now. You can see the original here.
