Breakfast Links: Penis Power, Intelligence, Whales in the Gowanus
Hoo, check out this video from an Atlantic Public Access show “Vagina Power.” (via MeFi) The title of this particular episode is “Penis Power,” see how they did that? Yeah… I was trying to pull a quote from it, but it’s like every other sentence was hysterical. It’s a close call, but it was pretty surreal when the one lady starts talking about how the JackRabbit (a vibrator) in real life, “in nature” jumps from here to there.
Phew… anyhow, after you’ve watched that I have yet further proof about how incredibly smart I am. This article discusses how bodily symmetry is symptomatic of great intelligence, more accurate a predictor than even brain size (of which I am also blessed). I have had my fingers and ear width and foot widge scientifically measured and they are completely identical. This also explains my incredible success with the ladies, who are always on the lookout for men with equal ear and foot widths. Yup.
And in the disgusting department, we find a live and healthy (for the time being, at least) whale in the Gowanus Canal. No one can really see the whale because the water is so nasty, but they’ve seen it breach and apparently it’s a young minke whale. Here’s a video, but the picture in the article above is more better. This definitely beats the harp seal that was there some years back. I hope that whale gets out of there soon!
