So according to the Gothamist the MTA is handing out free metrocards today near Grand Central. It’s some kind of Earthday celebration or something. I tried to looking around the googles but couldn’t find any other mention of it, so who knows. Maybe you got more google skillz than I do and can find more info.

There’s also some rumors, and pictures, that Nike is going to be releasing the sneaks that graced Marty McFly’s feet in Back to the Future II. Yeah, the ones that rocked the hoverboard that you wanted so badly in the 80’s. Don’t try to deny it.

UPDATE: Apparently, the interwebbing and I have something in common. We don’t do any fact checking and that McFly link is just a hoax. Got an email telling me so, didn’t do any fact checking on that either, so who knows. But it seemed reasonable. There’s even now a website to make the sneaker come true. Keep your fingers crossed!

And then there was the portable butt washer. In a display of what I believe is the greatest instruction art I have ever or may ever witness, the Japanese have invented a water gun that you can take with you to spray your ass after number 2. I wonder how the guy who made that art stopped giggling long enough to make it. I’d also like to know what steps 1 and 2 are. I mean, I know what step 2 is…
