Afternoon ass whuppin
Ok, so this is suuuuper old. It’s new to me, maybe it’s new to some of you. Came across this video by a bunch o’ students at supinfocom. I don’t know no nothin’ about supinfocom but that’s what they said on the Mojizu blog. Called Sigg Jones, it really does feel like they brought a couple vinyl figures to life, the character design is awesome. There’s one moment where it seems like things got a little choppy and stop-motiony, but overall it’s a stunning piece o’ work. My favourite part is just the couple seconds he’s standing holding a stop sign. The loving detail given to the sneakers and other faux product placementy bits are so perfect. I love the “camera” movement and really, you gotta love Sigg Jones, he’s lovable.
It’s on the youtubes, but that version’s a little low res and I know you, my discriminating readers, won’t stand for less than the best. So I’m skipping the vodpod and putting up a link to the video on supinfocom, wmv style. It is totally worth a few minutes of your time.
