Mad painting
You know, when I grow up to be a billionaire, I’m going to buy an old church (to live and work in) and get Dave McKean to do the stained glass. Right? Cool? Yeah. But apparently I’m not thinking big enough. Facebook (Facebook??) hired David Choe to paint their offices - two multilevel buildings. Those interiors are madness! I love most of his work and while I’m not sure that’s necessarily quite the art I’d love on every wall of my workspace, I certainly admire facebook for coming up with the idea and making it happen! It’s profoundly awesome, he’s even painted in the stairwell and the doors of the elevator. It’s certainly a leg up on the pastel southwestern colors I used to work in at the nytimes!
