Cable Management
When I grow up and have my own huge datacenter, I’m definitely going to hire someone who’s whole job will be cable management. He (or she, I’m no discriminator) will rack machines and cut custom cable to just the right length and label everything obsessively. I say this completely randomly, not because I spent another couple hours at the ISP today tracing out cables. I’m not saying, I’m just saying.
