Jersey!
The Garden State and You, perfect together! Especially if you’re a driver. It turns out that NJ, despite requiring full service only stations by law, has the lowest gas prices in the US. Jersey! I’m not ashamed to admin, I never pumped my own gas till I had a car in college, and while it was kinda fun and exciting for like the first two times I did it (sort of like, remember in 2nd grade when you actually wanted homework?) it quickly lost it’s bloom. Rock on, Jersey. Rock on.

While full service is convenient in that I don’t have to do anything when gassing up, it is a pain when you’re in a rush cause I can gas up my tank much faster by myself than waiting for the one or 2 attendants rushing around servicing 4 cars at a time. I’m kinda surprised they charge so little tax on gas in NJ but I guess I shouldn’t complain. =p

Quit yer whinin! You love it. Nothing better than sitting in your car on a cold winter day and juuuust cracking the window to push your cash out to the attendant.

I just paid $3.65 a gallon for regular this morning. I pumped it myself at Citgo–the company owned by Venezuela–the country that hates our guts. I feel like such a whore.

See? You gotta move to NJ, the promised land of highways and malls.
