John 6:27

God I love this ad. Actually, not quite this ad - this is taken from one of those stickers I’ve seen around that are in a little quote - the ones I really love are the huge ones that are on the side of buses. I haven’t seen one in a bit, or I’d have tried to grab a picture, so this will have to do.
It’s the John 6:27 that brings it to the next level. I suspect that this is going to really get all the, dare I say… diehard fans of the movie excited for it come out (oh, I dare, baby, I dare). I mean, it totally worked on me and I didn’t even like 2 or 3.

I think the working title of the new Diehard flick is “Diehard in Depends”. Stallone is making a new Rambo movie, too: “First Iron Poor Blood”. ;-)

I know, I’m embarrassed to actually want to see the new one, but what can I do? Still I’m not seeing no new Sly movies. :)

Saw the preview for this when watching Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and while I can’t say for sure that it’ll be unterrible, it does sorta make you psyched to wanna see it.

yeah, chances are that it isn’t going to be a great movie. But, being more of a gun movie than a movie about fisticuffs, I’m more willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. Plus, I like Bruce Willis. :)
How was pirates 3? I want to see that, too.

The movie could be fun, but its really DOA. they decided they wanted it pg-13. Die hard is just not a PG franchise. Yipee Ki Yay, jerkface!

I thought Pirates 3 was good. 2 was a letdown for me so I wasn’t expecting much from 3 but it was better than I expected. Seeing Chow Yun Fat in a movie again was nice. But the first one was still the best overall.

H, yeah I forgot about the pg-13 bit. Wonder why they went there, it isn’t as if ther could be many more in the franchise unless we meet John’s long lost son in this one…
B, I didn’t know Chow was in P3! Nice. Glad this one was better’n P2, cause I didn’t love that one either.

Lenny, you’re almost certainly right! But I still think I gotta see it. :)

[...] I find myself psyched, I think I can really only attribute it to the brain washing effects of that damn advertisement. I am a marketer’s wet dream because that non-sense totally works on me. [...]

Jesus continued to say, “Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For it is on him that God the Father has set his seal.”

[...] I saw it. I’ve had a couple of posts on it leading up to the opening and I caught Live Free or Die Hard last night. The short review is [...]
