Heroes targets its target audience
See if you can guess. I just posted a little bit on how the current Miss Universe (Riyo Mori from Japan) seemed like she was going to get a role on the upcoming second season of Heroes. Now sfsignal points out that Aishwarya Rai is going to join as Mohinder’s (supposedly dead, but apparently not dead and very hot) sister! Ash (see how in I am?) is a former Miss World. (who even knew there was a Miss World?).
So, let’s see, Heroes decides to bring on two beauty queens onto the show? That’s bound to attract a certain demographic world wide, know what I’m saying? Yup, pageant aficionados globally will definitely be tuning in this coming season.
UPDATE: Scott raises the excellent points that Ash was both 60 Minutes “Most Beautiful Woman in the World” as well as the women who’s got Indian’s burning Richard Gere in effigy after an unscripted on stage kiss. Mori’s got some catching up to do!

just wanted to drop you an inside scoop straight from the lands they call India…..the word is that Ashwaryia WILL NOT be in Heroes….
