So I just read this piece about how many Japanese women in their 20’s and 30’s talk to their computers. Is that news? Everyone doesn’t talk to their computers? I talk to my computer all the time. Well, talk may not be quite the right term, rail at it, scream at it, make threatening gestures at it… but the article says that errors were a frequent cause of talking, so I’m in.
The article says that Japanese women give their computer a nickname like “Mac-kun” or “Pudding”. I also often give my computer a nickname like “stupid mother f#@ker” or “cr@p eating piece of cr@p”. All loving like.
Are you trying to tell me when your computer decides to crash in the middle of updating something important you don’t share a few choice words with it? Don’t lie.
