So Apple had their big all hands internal meeting today and a bunch of interesting stuff was discussed. Check out ars technica for the big report.

Here’s what I take away from it:

· Steve said that they have the “best Macs” in the new product pipeline ever right now, and that the stuff coming out in the next year is “off the charts.” Oh. SNAP. New fancy iMac, come to daddy! Or subnotebook? Please?

· There is one OS group that does Mac OS X for the Mac and the iPhone, as well as “some iPods we’re working on.” How awesome is this - the same group is working on the OS for Mac and iPhone, solidifying that relationship. And they’re going to bust that out on iPods? I think this will mean lots more apps on the iTunes store (will they have to change the name??) that will run on iPhones and iPods? Yes, please.

· He mentions that he wants AppleTV to be on the level of importance as iPhones, iPods and Macs. That will take some doing, but I’ll certainly be very interested to see what happens when he gets time to turn his unblinking gaze on that device. I want to see DVR on the AppleTV.

Well, that’s what I thought was interesting about that thing. Word. Maybe it’s still a good time to pick up a little more AAPL.
