For those of you not in the throes of planning a wedding you might not know that today is one of the (if not the) most weddingest day evar. Apparently, 7/7/7 brings up images of jackpots and, apparently, weddings. According to that Post article the number of marriages today will beat millennium and Valentine’s Day marriages.
However, I’m not putting my long money on this staying the big day for long. Next year comes 8/8/8 landing on a friday a perfectly good wedding day. And 8’s the number in Chinese, the more 8’s the better. Although, I guess four 8’s would be bad luck, since 4’s a bad number. Any hizzle, that’s where this betting man is laying down his cash - next year’s 8/8/8 is going to go down as the day of the most marriages for a long time to come.

Scary. Having gone through two divorces, I spent the day hiding under the covers in my locked bedroom. Not taking any chances. ;-)
