Ok, you know that I like the future. And what’s in the future? Rocket packs. When is the future, you ask? Well, loyal reader, the future is now. Check out this video from this year’s Rocket Belt Conference at Niagara Falls! Yeah, I want one. Strangely the internet doesn’t know about the Rocket Belt Conference. Is that wierd? Wouldn’t you think that such an event would have a website? It knows only a very little bit about the last one in 2006. Sigh.

The internet may not know about that conference but it does know about clothes and what people are wearing. Normally you might simply go to the Sartorialist for your fix of looking at fully clothed people. But I know you want so much more than that, you can’t get enough pictures of people wearing all their clothes. Perhaps you have a shoe fetish? Well then, my friend, you should check out the Shoe Project. It’s a surprisingly compelling site of people and their shoes. Or perhaps you are the judgemental type and need some hot rating action? Check out Shoutfit where people upload pictures of them in their outfits and you get to rate and comment on them. My beef with that site is that apparently people really like the Goths, nothing wrong with that, but I would have hoped for more variety in the popular outfits - it isn’t Gothfit after all.

Bats Day, Goths at DisneyBut if you can’t get enough of the Goths you ought to check out Bats Day! This may be the greatest thing I’ve heard all day (granted it’s a bit early in the day, but you know) - it’s a day where Goths all gather and go to Disney Land. And by a day I really mean, it’s like a Goth Convention and outing all in one. It’s pretty awesome. They’ve got it all wired (Goths unlike the rocket scientists above understand how to use the internet), check out their LiveJournal page and of course their Flickr stream from previous years.

BONUS LINK: I know you like lemonade, it’s the summer, who doesn’t like a refreshing glass of lemonade in the summer? And now New York magazine has put up it’s list of the top 9 in the city. And just like Malvin in War Games you should start right with the first one on the list.
