Weekend Paranoia: Under Britain’s Watchful Eyes
You know how Britain’s been doing all the craaaazy stuff with the video monitors? It seems they’ve had a long history of being Big Brother to their citizens. This campaign seems not to have been a hoax and was run in 2002!

Um.. who thought that was a good campaign??

Eh, no matter how SAFE they make the buses, they’ll always smell of B.O. and pee, so really, what difference does it make?

LOL! You know I don’t think I ever took the bus in London. Always tubed, walked or cabbed. I guess I’m glad I never did now. :)

That is a hella funny hoax poster.
Like, if it was a serious poster I would LMAO. But, I still LOL even though it’s a hoax, whoever made it did a great job!

blacklight - heh! Is it a hoax? I couldn’t find anything one way or the other. I’m very impressed if it was a hoax! Topical and a really fantastic photochopping job!

It was also published in National Geographic last year, and they made light of the fact that many assumed that the posters were a lark since they had such “orwellian” overtones. But NO, it is not a hoax!
