Here’s some depressing news, now even 6th graders are getting in on that sweet, sweet venture capital money. That’s right PlaySpan’s 13 year old founder just raised $6.5 million. I mean, that’s gotta mark a top in the VC market and it’s straight down now, right? Although, it seems that it’s a bit of a marketing ploy and it’s actually his dad who runs the company, but you know…

Hopefully people will come to their senses and instead of investing in the work of the pre-adolescent they should invest in haptic extra sensory headbands. I blogged about something similar awhile ago, although I can’t find it - but check out this headband that gives you Spidey Sense! It uses some kinda blah blah blah blah and then you can sense, blindfolded, when something is coming at you. Check out the video, it’s pretty boring, but it’s a little cool about half way through when the spidey sense kicks in. Sure you can only dodge very slow moving styrofoam balls right now, but can dodging punches and lasers be far away? Doubtful!

It’s possible, though, that that may be the hard way to get Spidey Sense. A Peruvian village, being near the site of a meteor strike is now coming down with mysterious illnesses. Some cops who went to check it out are also getting sick. They seem to also be coated in black goop that gives them super powers and insanely huge, pointy teeth! Ok, I made that last one up, but it could be happening… one never knows… one never knows.
