Michel Gondry is the coolest
I totally dig Michel Gondry. I didn’t know too much about him for awhile, I think I was first introduced to him around the time his DVD came out, which I subsequently watched it many a time. (Don’t you love that DVD? I really dig his earlier stuff on that the Daft Punk video and Cibo Matto, amongst many others). I can’t get enough of his work (ok, I had a little bit with that horrible Paul McCartney video where even his low tech smoke and mirrors work couldn’t save the video).
Most recently I came across an ad he did for motorola:
Man that’s an awesome commercial. I mean, it doesn’t make me want a motorola phone even a little bit, but it’s really great. And just in case you’re curious, he’s no stranger to commercials. For real.
And don’t forget that Be Kind Rewind is coming up. I really can’t express how excited I am for the movie. Well, maybe I could, but I won’t. I’m pretty excited.
