Wow, I remember growing up in the Garden State and heading out to Atlantic City. The Sands was a fixture. A fixture we never went to, preferring the Trop and Caesars, but still a fixture, with that weird set back entrance and covered walkway. Well, it has the distinction of being the first casino on the East Coast to be imploded. Sweeeet. While it was no Vegas style New Year’s Eve bash, it still had fireworks and Bon Jovi, and oh, a giant imploding building, so it was damn cool. Sadly the good part of the video doesn’t happen till the very end.
