I wouldn't say season 2 opener was mind blowing, made Buffy look like a selfish cow... wasn't to later seasons that we relize Buffy really was abit of a dictator

Michael, yeah, I can't figure out what the show will be like. But like you say, if Joss is doing it there's no reason not to believe it will be great - he hasn't let me down yet in tv or film! (his comics are a little more mixed..)

Yeah, I remember when I discovered Buffy, I had seen some episodes sporadically and then I caught the opener of season 2 and it blew my mind. Good times!

Reading the show's description it sounds lame but with Joss Whedon involved, it will be good...period. I never watched a Buffy episode until it was about halfway through its seventh season because I thought the premise sounded stupid. Teenagers fight vampires? Yeah. Ok, sure.

One day I took my car to a tire shop and sat there for 2 hours waiting for them to do their thing...the TV in the shop had Buffy re-runs.

Being too lazy to walk across the shop and change the channel, I watched and was hooked immediately. I caught an episode from Season 3 and one from Season 6 though I had no idea at that point who was who or what was really going on. But it was funny. The dialogue was great; the characters more than the usual blocks of wood you see on TV. Who was this GENIUS writing this stuff??

So began my long obsession with all things Whedon and I've consumed everything he's worked on and never been disappointed.
