Wow, thanks to Crossing Wall Street (of all places!) for posting this video of U2’s first television appearance! Look how young they are! Eddy says they’re all 16-18 here. Aww so cute! The best part is about a 1:10 in when the camera focuses on li’l Larry - who notices and then is all happy but then decides he should play it cool. Adorable!!

Next time Bono gets it in his enormous head to fly across the world to preach to some world leader about peace they ought to play this video for him, then kick him in the nuts and send him packing.
