Stpales is working with Seagate Recovery to get data off your dead devices (via). Now that’s pretty interesting - data recovery always seemed like something mysterious and only for the super important - you find some company and ship your drive to them and they figure it all out for you. Having it all within walking (or driving for you non-new yorkers) distance makes it accessible to everyone. I know there’s a few times in my day where I could’ve used something like this and I’m glad to know it’s around now!

And next time you have keyboard recovery needs (like when I hated my Apple keyboard) you might consult this list of the 22 best keyboards. Although, honestly? You might not. You know there’s going to be a problem when the #1 keyboard is the new Apple Keyboard. You may also take issue with the fact that the Happy Hacking Keyboard (this person’s keyboard of choice), only shows up as the limited edition version that costs $4400. I am positive that the authors of said list have used perhaps 2 of the keyboards there and don’t actually care about keyboards. But that’s just me.

In another bout of internet frustration, I tried my hand at the “How Well Do You Know Your World?” game. I’d actually seen it and played a level on Facebook, but here it is on the unsocial network. It turns out I, apparently, don’t know my world very well. I got a whopping 128,720 points and have a Traveler IQ of 87. Um. Sad? I blame the fact that it was like way super early in the morning when I played and um… the fact that I’m American? Give it a whirl and see if you can best my too sad score.
