Still not enough to get past level 10.

Next time I’m playing with my stylus instead of MacBook trackpad. Up too late with no caffeine, instead of too early like the rest of you.

Anyhoo, the problem with the Deck 82 is that the windows key (which would map to the command key on my mac) is waaaay out in the upper right and the wierd placement of the tilde and fn keys right next to the space bar. That’s pretty weak sauce. Show stoppers for me. I thought since it was so focussed on modding there’d be some way to change that up, but alas, modding just means switching out the key caps. The HHKB has all these dip switches that let you actually change what the keys do. Sigh. Show stopper for me.

As for the deck - you just like it because it’s the only keyboard who’s website features a pretty lady to help sell it. Admit it. Oh and plus they somehow make the field of keyboard design glamorous:

Only made it to level 10. Map was kinda small but I think they took that into account. Sometimes I’d mark things on the other side of the country and they’d still say “Good job!” =p

I gotta go grab some lunch.
