This is the first single off El-P’s latest I’ll Sleep When You’re Dead - Def Jux, ‘natch. In an unparalleled feat of awesomeness the song is Flyentology. This here video was made by the Adult Swim guys! The song’s great - clearly El-P style but is it just me or are there shades of the Gorillaz in there? Maybe I’m just being confused by the animated video.

You know… in that video DefJux calls him Del The Funkeehomospien… I always thought he was Del THA Funkeehomosapien. Man, I just can’t keep up with the kids today.
Huh, now that you’re getting all specific on my ass, maybe I am feeling a little bit of a Clint Eastwood vibe and that’s the Del influence… hm.. Or maybe I’m just making shit up. I’m good at that.

He keeps shit interesting thats for sure. Even wikipidia is kind of blurry on all Del’s projects. Who knows where or who he will turn up with next. Amazing rapper though. Would love to see him and KRS-One do something.
