Heh, this is some good times - the toll free technical support number printed on the boxes of some Linksys routers turns out to lead you to a phone sex hotline! That’s a whole different kind of technical support - although if the calls were subsidized for Linksys it could prove to a be a win-win for everyone, no? Sadly, it wasn’t a misprint, it turns out that’s the right number in India - just not sure how boxes of routers destined for India wind up in Circuit City… I hope it was a widespread problem and lots of people start getting the hottest, nastiest tech support of their lives.

…which would be bad for the kids…. Save the kids! The latest problem for the kids is that the kids are being exposed to too much violence. Researchers show that violence depicted on TV, film and video games are turning our kids into monsters when they grow up. These researchers are, apparently, the children and grand children who proved that rock and roll, heavy metal, role playing games and comic books were turning our kids into monsters, too. I, apparently, am a monster. You probably are, too. I wish they’d do a study on what the viewing of real actual violence does to a kid instead of fake violence. Like repeatedly showing planes flying into the twin towers or you live, realtime broadcasts of US bombing all it’s enemies.

Sorry, that shit just bugs me. On a brighter note, the UK may be designing a new flag… a better flag… a flag with a dragon on it! Wales is up in arms all of a sudden about not being represented on the Union Jack so now parliament is toying around with dropping a big red dragon smack dab in the middle. Seriously, I wish we get get Wales as the 51st state if they’re bringing a dragon to the flag. I mean… awesome? It’s a big red dragon. And if we learned anything from Dungeons and Dragons it’s the short of the Chromatic Dragon, oh and gold dragons, reds are the baddest ass.
