Last Monday Art of 2007!

Wandered by foodiebytes.com which hopes to let you find new places to eat (if you live in Boston, Chicago, NY, SF or DC). It takes the novel approach of letting you search by food (or dietary restriction apparently as they suggest searching for “gluten-free” as an example). This seems like an interesting tack - but I searched for “hot dogs” in my zip code which did not turn up the prime example of Crif Dog which is a big disappointment. In fact, they have Crif Dog listed in their database and it’s cuisine is, in fact, listed as “hot dogs” so that’s sad. Still this bad boy is only in Beta and hopefully it will rectify this travesty soon. :)

If that’s too much for you to bear check out this list on Cracked.com that finds common ground between Christians and Athiests. For example everyone agrees with this statement “Celebrating the death of somebody you disagreed with pretty much makes you a dick.” See? Common ground.

It wasn’t long ago that I linked to a teaser trailer for the upcoming Dark Knight movie and displayed my shocking ignorance over the fact that it was just a sequel to Batman Begins and not based on Dark Knight Returns. Well now there’s a real trailer out and I gotta say, it doesn’t do anything for me. Other than having Maggie Gyllenhaal (currently very high on my awesome ladies of Hollywood list) I don’t really think I’m all that interested in seeing it. I mean, it features a Joker who can’t seem to touch up his make up and I guess lots of explosions which is always good, but I dunno. I’d like more. Robots, maybe. And/or lasers.

UPDATE: Gizmodo has a handcam version of a new trailer for Dark Knight - it’s long and looks more or less like a full scene of a bank heist. It still doesn’t really make me want to see it - I mean, it was like the bank heist from Point Break, except for clown masks instead of president masks and shooting instead of mooning.
