Breakfast Links: Thermochromatic Toilet, iPhone Risks & Hottt Nerds
Half art, half practical, half gross - check out this guy’s thermochromatic toilet seat (via). So you can see if the toilet your about to sit on (or hover above) is still warm from that last guys nasty fat ass. I mean, that’s cool and all, but what they need to invent, for art’s sake, is a seat cover that reacts to methane so you can see from a safe distance if you’re better off waiting a few minutes… you know… so it can air out.
Oook… moving on… we have gothamist wondering what gadget’s you’d risk death to save? Kicking off with a little story about a guy who climbed down onto the subway tracks to retrieve his fallen iPhone or the other guy who stuck his arm so far into a toilet (to save his non-iPhone??) they needed the jaws of life to get him out. Fortunately, LAPTOP magazine is running a poll over various devices to see what level of misfortune you’d endure for a variety of devices. And to bring it all back - nearly 77% of people would risk their lives for the Kindle!
And then there was the laydees. Was reading FSJ when he let us in on this latest sexist outrage - Wired’s sexiest geeks of 2007. So there I was being outraged by this blatant objectification of Olivia Munn when I scrolled down to an interesting caption on Danica McKellar - yes, Winnie from the Wonder Years! Turns out our little Winnie, went and got a BS in Mathematics (the very same degree this blogger claims to have “earned”), wrote a book “Math Doesn’t Suck” and even co-authored a math proof! Who knew? Not you.

Yes. You can tell she is a true geek. Very “get-able” yet completely unaware of her above par beauty. And she loves video games. Yeah, dreamy about covers it.
