Breakfast Links: Giant Monsters, Cup O’ Noodles & Cursor*10

You know what’s awesome? When Firefox gets itself into a reset loop that makes you have to restart your computer. That’s totally awesome. Anyways…

Trey and Matt are looking to make a new movie Giant Monsters Attack Japan! Reasons for optimism: “Eiji Tsuburaya Productions, creators of Ultraman and many classic Kaiju costumes, may be working on this movie” and giant. monsters. attack. japan. Reason for neutralism: “it’s also possible that Nickelodeon, which is producing the movie, may use its own in-house staff.” Reason for pessimism: “Parker and Trey are at their best when they take a tired stereotype and give it a weird extra twist, but it may be hard for them to do that when they’re playing outside their native idiom and toning it down for the kids.”

If you love Japan, and I know you do, after talking about monsters, there’s only one thing you think of… that’s right. Cup O’ Noodles. Turns out that there’s an instant ramen museum in Osaka! Even better than that (and I know you didn’t think it could get better!) is that you can custom make your own cup ‘o noodles at that museum! They should make that into a service - design your noodles online, give ‘em your credit card and they’ll ship a box off to you. College students everywhere would rejoice! (via)

And yet more flowing from the land of the rising sun… this time… a flash game! Cursor*10 doesn’t have the best graphics but it does have some really interesting game play. Just like all the posts before me I won’t spoil the game play, but it’s definitely worth a couple minutes of your “precious” time to check out - you know, while you’re not “working.” Also… if someone can splain me this game, I would love to know.
