Art. Monday. 2008??!
Turns out scientists love studying the laydeees. This time they’re finding that not only are curvier women smarter, their children are smarter too! Some kinda something about fat and optimus prime fats or something. Is it just me, though, or are they recommending that women eat fish for their kids sake? Aren’t pregnant women not supposed to eat fish?

Anyway, who cares about ladies when there’s gadgets to ogle! CES 2008 is in fullswing now with more gadgets than you can shake a stick at. Gizmodo and engadget have been posting like a jagillion posts a day so you know, there’s a lot. But check out this video of some motorola guy touting the ROKR E8’s completely buttonfree screen. It’s like he’s never heard of an iPhone before the way he keeps talking about how “magical” the screen changes are. Magical, seriously. That’s what he says. I can’t make it up. Magical. Motorola is now incorporating Pixie Dust technology into their phones. The Times’ rains on everyones parade by questioning whether CES matters at all anymore.

And who cares about gear anyway, when there’s comics! In particular Dark Horse has put up a webcomic by Joss Whedon and Fabio Moon called Sugarshock. It was a 3 issue run - issue 1, issue 2, issue 3. It’s pretty good, if not awesome - it definitely has some really great moments. Also, and maybe it’s just me, but it feels kind of Scott Pilgrim-ey. Dunno, give it a read, especially if you are of the fanboy persuasion and let me know what you think. (via)
