LOL, that's an awesome conversation to have with your mother. As for goodness, I agree it's no dancing in the windows of DSW and co, but still, trains full of pantsless people is funny. I mean, No Pants is comedy! Selling people their pants back would have been the cherry on the icing - I guess, though, losing your pants would be very, very sad.

I didn't witness No Pants 2k8, being a Brooklyn homebody, but my MOTHER happened to be in Union Square at the right time. She called and asked what was up with all the underwear-sporting folks, and I was able to help her out.

I have to say, though, that without the Pants Sellers portion of the prank, a lot of the humor is lost. From the reports on their website it sounds like the last time they actually had someone collect the pants and then "sell" them back a lot of people ended up losing their pants(!). No Pants is a victim of its own success.

Heh, purposeful in that you are doing something that isn't, more or less, a reduction of action to focus on one specific muscle group. Eh, it's all arbitrary, but I like that kinda stuff.

Damn it I thought it was wear an extra pair of pants day. And Parkour purposeful fitness? Maybe fun fitness or enjoyable fitness but I'm not sure of it's purpose. (maybe for doctors)
