The humor was similar, yes, but I couldn't get into the characters of Buffy. Maybe too close to D&D for me who knows. I put Firefly on par with many sci fi movies actually. Very well produced too. I watched two episodes today already. The casting was a lil slice of perfection. GO JANE! I am waiting for a G.I. Jane reference ending with him shooting someone in the face. I didn’t like Buffy. Are you lovin' Firefly? It's tremendously great. I put it on a level with a first season Buffy, much better than Angel ever was. But it feels much different than Buffy did - it's much more coherent and finished, I think. Sort of like Buffy at the end but profoundly fresh instead of mediocre. Nice! Are you lovin’ Firefly?
