China is the Weather Dominator!
Muah ah ah! China, or should I say… Cobra… finally built the Weather Dominator and they plan to unleash it’s awesome might to… save the Beijing Olympics from getting rained on. Totally boring. Ok, they didn’t really build the Weather Dominator, at least not the way Cobra Commander would have (and, when you get right down to it, what other metric is there to go by?) - but apparently they’ve got some kind of huge weather control department. Second only to Russia’s weather controllers! How super weird is that? I mean it’s got 37,000 people in it!
Anyhow, the good news for you all is that the Weather Dominator episodes of GI Joe are totally in the youtubes, and I bring you the only part I remember - when they play laser hockey in some mountain crater. I mean, it’s GI Joe v. Cobra, on ice, in the mountain, shooting this gigantic puck with their laser guns. And Storm Shadow’s still only wearing his cut off ninja outfit. Hard core,that guy is. I tell you. The good part starts about half way in.
Hahaha, did you get that? I said that as though any part of GI Joe was not good!

Wow, when I look back on the show I realize how much cooler the situations I imagined were for GI Joe. This series was bad! Not bad meaning bad, but bad meaning …. no, wait just bad. I remember my best friend at the time had that main evil dude who changed colors in the sun. I was jealous.

Yeah, not the greatest shows ever made. But we sure loved ‘em at the time!
