Jason Reitman’s JunoHere’s the executive summary. Go see it.

I was totally ready to be annoyed with Juno, I don’t know, some too clever, trying to hard bit of art house cinema. It’s too cutesy indie rock soundtrack also started out a little worrisome and then completely won me over. I don’t know, I think it’s a great movie with interesting people that I found genuinely compelling. It was touching without any kind of manipulation - I don’t know, for me everything felt just about right. Although the acting was all great, Ellen Page deserves some kind of award for really pulling off the whole thing.

Plus it appealed to my nerdy sensibility. We just went to the DJ Shadow/Cut Chemist show which saw Cut Chemist sporting his Juno shirt - I didn’t realize why till we saw the movie with him as the chemistry teacher. Pretty awesome. It also featured a nice pan down of a David Choe piece. Apparently, I guess, Kozyndan were somehow in there, too - Maria thinks it might have been the credits. The only reason I suspect is because they were in the special thanks.

UPDATE: So I just poked around the matrix a bit and found David Choe’s post on this business. Which is both a) funny (he’s Hollywood’s goto man for art for troubled teen rooms) and b) informative (Ellen Page was Kitty Pryde in X-Men! I completely missed that.).

Also found this flickr from Kozyndan - they show a t-shirt that they made that showed up in the movie.
