A look into the world of the top reviewers and the controversies that swirl within.
· p2pnet RIAA school report - p2pnet
A very detailed article looking at the present and history of the RIAA’s attack on schools and students. Very detailed.
· Undersea internet cable cut in Middle East – Should Iran be worried? - American Chronicle
A look into possible reasons four internet cables to the middle east could have broken down in such a short time frame. Conspiracyish, but gets the brain juices percolatin’.
· Overhaul of net addresses begins - BBC
Wow, IPv6 is actually starting to roll out!
· Our doors are open to OpenSocial developers - OpenSocial API blog
Huh, so OpenSocial’s to roll out on Orkut at the end of February and Google’s hosting some developer days at the plex. I’m still skeptical of this, but less so if they actually get something good live out there. The real test will be when several OpenSocial container’s hit the streets.
· CFO: Microsoft likely to go into debt for Yahoo deal - seattlepi
Man. I thought MSFT was sitting on a world of cash, turns out they’ve only got $21 billion, not enough to cover the cash part of the deal. Still, they won’t need to raise much cash, making it an easier thing for the banks to swallow.
· Is the Tipping Point Toast? - Fast Company
Tipping Point always bothered me, so it’s refreshing to see something written attempting to debunk it. Still controversial, it is at the least incredibly interesting to read the types of experiments this guy ran to see how viral marketing spreads in society.
· Nofollow Killed Google Social Graph API 3 Years Ago - Andy Beard
Interesting view of the effect of Google’s nofollow tag on it’s most recent social graph api initiative.
