So there’s no shortage of the dumb American posts. I admit, despite being the greatest country ever, we’re also kinda dumb - wait, should that be a despite… or perhaps it’s because! Big whoop. But here’s a great post on dumb Brits! That’s right… 23% of British people thought that Winston Churchill was a myth, you know, like the Cyclops. Perhaps even beter is that 58% thought that Sherlock Holmes was an actual person. Sweet, right?

What is not mythical, though, are the deals you can get from Amazon. I just came across an ad on their own site that led me to warehouse deals (by Amazon.com). It is here that they sell there stock of returned goods at pretty steep discounts. Like, you can’t normally find much discount on Apple products, but here you can grab a 16GB iTouch for $322.80, pretty sweet! But if deep discounts aren’t enough for you, you can turn your Pepsi products into free crap from Amazon at Pepsi Stuff.
That’s where you get your free MP3’s, but what I didn’t know was you can also get unbox downloads, cds, dvds, electronics and other stuff. I don’t really drink much Pepsi stuff, so I don’t know how it works, but I like free.

And most awesome of all we have The “Blog” Of “Unnecessary” Quotation Marks! That’s right, it’s a blog dedicated to the finding, photographing and posting of signs that use quotes not just for no reason, but often negates the purpose of the sign! Totally great. For example, this one - “Help” Is Available, or perhaps you’d like a bowl of “Manhattan” “Clam” “Chowder”? That is some great stuff.

BONUS LINK: Just saw this on Lifehacker - but the Newseum’s site has a newspapaer front page browser that shows you an image of the front page of dailies across the country - a lot of them. In cool map format (amongst other formats) - given it’s the day after Super Tuesday it’s neat to see how different papers all cover the same topic.
