Hey F., the Peach Pit! Ha! That's awesome. And Luke Perry should bring back the sideburns for old times' sake. Both shows are/were on Fox....not sure what those fellas are up to these days but I think the network can make it happen!

What do you make of the whole Blu-ray thing? I don't want to buy a Blu-ray player (if I do, it'd be a Playstation 3) and I don't want to buy Blu-ray discs but at the same time I have a HD tv and it would be great to have media that takes advantage of the hardware. Having said that, I just ordered the Point Break DVD on amazon.com; it was $10.49 so why not. And yes, I'm certainly planning on getting the Fastlane DVD set. Heh!

Fantastic, totally with you on that! It's why I'm kinda into the new movie trilogy - since it'll be set in the future and darker, I'm presuming it's more about that kinda business. Be interesting to see that!

That would have been a great resistance team! And their hideout could have been called the Peach Pit. Oh, boy. That'd have been great. Ah well. Yeah, it was a little wierd with the step-dad, but I took it all in as him being a little shell shocked and trying to put everything together. Still it was creepy.

Nice! You going to get the DVD's? We can have a Fastlane party at your place! :)

I liked last week's episode because the story really moved along. The scenes from the future, both here and in the original movie, are always neat. I don't have a problem with BAG; it took me a little while to recognize who he was, though. It would have been funny if the other members of the resistance team included Luke Perry, Jason Priestley, and Ian Ziering (as "uncredited," heh.) Or if those barcodes on their forearms all read "9 0 2 1 0." Heh! I also found the sequences in the future a bit disjointed, though, like some steps were missing or something, but no biggie, they crammed quite a bit into that episode.

The scene where Sarah's ex and Cameron are chatting as she prepares to destroy the endoskeleton was really weird. What did he say, something like, "You're pretty and all but you freak the hell out of me." Then he just kinda hung around! Or maybe he was just unable to turn away from such an oddity.

About the Summer Glau photoshoot with the metal heart--man, I gotta give her props for being such a good sport.

btw, about Fastlane--since you linked to its wiki page, you know that the DVD set is scheduled for release this summer, right? Can't wait.
