We froze first! And best!
Remember way back when, when Improv Everywhere did their freeze in Grand Central? Well it turns out that the rest of the world wanted to horn in on the fun. First the Brits did it in Trafalgar Square, whatever that is. Now the French gone and done it by the Eiffel Tower. It is my esteemed opinion that, while they were both cool, neither of them was as cool as the original. Although the French one did have some hotter laydees… See for yourself.
Trafalgar Square:
Eiffel Tower:
Whoa. Those and 31 other cities around the world have mimicked that badboy. Whoa.
Ah well. If you somehow haven’t already seen the Grand Central original, I’m impressed. You can see it here if you’re so inclined. And just so you can tell that Improv Everywhere don’t sit on their laurels, nope, not laurel sitters those guys - they’ve busted out a new one where their agents bust out into a spontaneous all-singing all-dancing musical in a mall food court. Not their best, I’d say, but pretty funny especially when security hits the scene…
I like IE’s videos cause now they have that guy go around as an innocent bystander to elicit a few candid comments from the crowds.

Dom, sadly no. It’s probably the only one of the IE missions I would have liked to have been in - most of ‘em I’d like to have seen but not been part of. :) But yeah - man, it would have been cool!

Yeah, right? I like it in the very beginning when she spills the lemonade and starts singing, that lady in front of her is trying so hard to be non-chalant… Good times!
