Huh. Today would have been Fred Roger’s 80th birthday. You know Mr. Rogers? Well, who knew? In Pittsburgh this whole week has been “Won’t you be my neighbor?” week. Which, if we’re all being honest, given that it’s in Pittsburgh, I probably won’t be. But today is actually “Won’t you wear a sweater?” day - “It doesn’t have to have a zipper down the front like the one Mister Rogers wore on the program, it just has to be special to you.” Just so you know.

On the opposite end of the spectrum we find that Europeans love sex. I mean, they’re taking legal action to show how much they love it. Check it… in Amsterdam they’re going to legalize public sex in a park - starting with one park but they want this program to go to other cities, too! And this is coming from the police. (via) That, however, pales, PALES, in comparison to the Finns, they’ve got a proposal in to grant all employees a 7-day “love vacation” once a year. (via) That, my friend, is what I’m talking about.

And then there was donotreply.com. An innocuous domain that happens to receive tons and tons of email that people seem to think will go nowhere. Unfortunately for those people, it in fact goes to a blogger who gets to post the scary things that come to that mailbox. For example. The Department of Homeland Security. Sigh. If you want to do something like that use your own domain as in donotreply@mydomain.com - that way you are always in control of this email. Sending it to someone else is just asking for trouble.
