Sad Mac ///: End of the Electropacolypse
Well it finally happened - my curse ended this week. It culminated on Wednesday when we received our iLuv i777 iPod alarm clock from Amazon. It arrived to us kinda broken, but working enough to see that even if it was fully operational (Death Star style) it still would have sucked. Sigh. The following day, I got my brand spankin’ new Panasonic phone and headphones which seem to be completely great. Works well and the sound, even when wearing the headset is really good. Yesterday I picked up my iMac (a couple days longer than they estimated it would take… grrrrrr….) and it seems to be in peak form.
I’m just saying - this is distinct proof that if you work from a home office it does nothing but pay you back to get the right gear to work on. Might cost an extra peso or two, but dropping a 24″ screen down to a 13″ (even with another 23″ to still there) and going from 4GB ram to 512MB - I wanted to kill myself on a near half hourly basis. Things just took for ever, there was mad clutter everywhere and the crashing. Oh, the crashing. For realz.
And that’s right Howard. It’s electropacolypse. Not electronopacolypse. I’m just saying.
