Breakfast Links: Hops, Mopars & Phun

Mega art for a Mega monday
You know I can deal with the rising price of gas and oil, increased chances of inflation, recession and all that kinda stuff. But I draw the line at hops. Apparently there’s a shortage of hops and it is impacting the production of beer. Sweet, golden beer. Enuff Z’nuff. Hops which used to cost $2/pound now clock in at $20 - $30 and that’s putting the squeeze on the brewers! Government, we gotta do something! Oh… the humanity.
On this next one, let me be clear. I’m not a car guy. I don’t know squat about cars except for the ones that I think look pretty. I don’t know how to drive stick and I heard of a paddle shifter once. However, I like to know people who know about cars. Poyla, for example. He went to a Mopar muscle car day and blogs about his time in a new Challenger Charger. It sounds pretty awesome. I wish I knew what a mopar was. One time I fishtailed in a rental Kia. I ended up totaling it. That wasn’t sweet.
On to funner times. It wasn’t long ago that I blogged about Crayon Physics, an open ended physics demonstration. Well, now there’s Phun a similar game, but completed and available for all platforms! You draw random stuff and give it some properties and behaves sort of the way it would if you could draw it in real life. It looks completely fantastic. The only reason you wouldn’t want to check this out is because you have an intense hatred of too many good times.
